If you're serious about becoming the kind of leader who actually changes the people and organizations around them — not just performs well individually — Dan is exactly who you need. What he provides isn't generic coaching. It's real mentorship, built around who you are and what you're trying to build. The impact I've experienced, both in how I lead my business and how I show up for the people around me, has been lasting. This is the work that actually sticks.

Andrew CopeFounder, Cope Training

There's a specific kind of stuck that high-achieving leaders don't talk about — where your capability is real but your clarity has gone. That's where I was when I started working with Dan. What he does well is cut through the noise and help you see what's actually possible, then give you the tools and framework to move toward it with real conviction. I came in feeling like I'd lost my edge. I left with a sharper sense of direction than I'd had in years — and the confidence to act on it.

Pearl HuskieSpa Founder

What separates Dan from other coaches I've worked with is that the guidance is genuinely tailored — to your business, your leadership style, and the specific challenges you're navigating. For me as both a creative and an entrepreneur, that specificity mattered. He didn't give me a generic framework and tell me to apply it. He helped me build a leadership approach that actually fits how I work and what I'm building. The growth I've experienced — in how I lead my team, how I make decisions, and how the business performs — has been tangible and measurable. I recommend him without hesitation.

John de RochambeauFounder, Rochambeau Photo

At a certain level of leadership, the challenges stop being tactical and start being about who you are as a leader — how you think, how you make decisions under pressure, how you bring people with you. That's the territory Dan works in, and he's exceptional at it. Working with him gave me a clarity about my leadership identity and direction that I hadn't been able to find on my own. For anyone who is serious about leading at a higher level — not just managing better, but actually leading — the investment pays for itself many times over.

1

AWAKENING PURPOSE

Most leaders are clear on what they do. Far fewer are clear on why they lead — and that gap shows up as inconsistency, low energy, and decisions that feel harder than they should. In this module, you identify the intersection of what you're built for, what you're driven by, and where your leadership creates the most impact — drawing on the Japanese concept of ikigai, the ancient framework for finding the convergence of passion, mission, vocation, and purpose. That intersection becomes your leadership foundation. Leaders who know their purpose don't drift. They decide.
2

VISIONARY ORIGINS

Your leadership style didn't appear from nowhere. It was shaped by specific experiences, formative decisions, and moments that taught you — accurately or not — how leaders behave. In this module, you examine the experiences that formed your current leadership identity, separate what's serving you from what's holding you back, and begin building a deliberate vision for the leader you are choosing to become — drawing on the Native American storytelling tradition of tracing lineage and origin as the foundation for understanding direction. Self-awareness at this level isn't introspection for its own sake. It's the foundation of intentional leadership.
3

AUTHENTIC ALIGNMENT

When what you believe and how you lead are out of sync, it creates friction — in your decisions, in your communication, and in the trust others place in you. People sense the misalignment even when they can't name it. In this module, you identify your core leadership values and align them with how you actually operate day to day, drawing on the ancient Egyptian principle of Ma'at — the philosophy of harmony between inner truth and outward action that governed how Egypt's greatest leaders earned and sustained authority. The result is a leadership presence that feels consistent and trustworthy, because it is.
4

THE ANALYTICAL LEADER

High-stakes decisions rarely come with complete information. The leaders who navigate them well aren't luckier or smarter — they have a repeatable process for thinking under pressure. In this module, you build a personal decision-making framework that balances strategic analysis with situational judgment, drawing on Sun Tzu's Art of War — specifically his principle that every battle is won or lost before it is fought, through preparation, positioning, and the disciplined separation of signal from noise. You'll know when to move fast and when to slow down, and how to make calls you can commit to even when the picture isn't fully clear.
5

BUILDING RESILIENCE

At the level you're operating, setbacks aren't occasional — they're part of the terrain. What separates leaders who compound their growth from those who plateau is how quickly and deliberately they recover. In this module, you develop a personal resilience practice that keeps you grounded under pressure and enables you to learn from failure without being defined by it, drawing on the leadership traditions of great African leaders whose capacity to persevere through systemic adversity while maintaining moral clarity and forward momentum produced some of history's most enduring examples of sustained leadership under pressure. Resilience at this level isn't toughness. It's a system.
6

INTEGRITY AND EMPATHY

The leaders people follow without hesitation share two qualities: they do what they say they'll do, and they understand the people they're leading. Both are learnable — and both are often underdeveloped in high-performing leaders who've been rewarded primarily for results. In this module, you build the communication habits and accountability practices that make you trustworthy at scale, drawing on Confucian teachings on moral leadership — specifically the principle that authority earned through consistent integrity and genuine concern for others is more durable and more powerful than authority claimed through position or performance alone. Trust is a leadership asset. This module shows you how to build it deliberately.
7

ADAPTABILITY AND FLEXIBILITY

Rigid leaders perform well in stable conditions and struggle everywhere else. The leaders who sustain high performance across changing teams, markets, and circumstances have learned how to adapt their approach without losing their direction. In this module, you develop the capacity to read changing environments accurately and make decisive calls even when the ground is shifting, drawing on the Taoist principle of wu wei — the art of moving with changing conditions rather than against them, which shaped how China's most effective strategists and administrators maintained clarity and effectiveness during periods of profound organizational and political flux. You'll leave with a framework for staying effective — and staying clear — when everything around you is in motion.
8

STRATEGIC VISION

Tactical leaders solve the problem in front of them. Strategic leaders see around corners — and they build organizations that can move toward a destination, not just away from a problem. In this module, you develop the capacity to think at a longer horizon and communicate a vision that others can follow, drawing on the Renaissance model of integrated thinking exemplified by Leonardo da Vinci — whose ability to hold creative possibility and analytical rigor simultaneously, and to move fluidly between invention and execution, produced both visionary concepts and practical results that outlasted his lifetime. You'll leave with a clearer picture of where you're taking your team or organization, and a sharper ability to bring others into that picture with conviction.
9

INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP

The highest-performing teams are rarely the most homogeneous ones. Leaders who know how to build environments where different perspectives are genuinely heard — and genuinely used — make better decisions and build stronger cultures. In this module, you develop the practical skills to lead across difference and build psychological safety without sacrificing accountability, drawing on the leadership example of Nelson Mandela — whose capacity to build inclusive coalitions across deeply divided constituencies, while maintaining principled authority and high standards of accountability, remains one of the most studied models of inclusive leadership under pressure in modern history. This isn't about compliance. It's about building the kind of team that consistently outperforms.
10

PEOPLE-CENTERED LEADERSHIP

Your ability to develop the people around you is one of the highest-leverage leadership skills you can build. Leaders who invest in others don't just retain good people — they multiply their own impact through every person they develop. In this module, you learn how to identify what each person on your team needs to grow and how to build a culture where performance and development are expected rather than exceptional, drawing on the servant leadership philosophy embedded in many indigenous leadership traditions worldwide — the principle that a leader's primary function is to create conditions in which others can perform at their highest level, and that lasting organizational strength is built through people, not around them. The best leaders make other people better. This module is where that skill gets built.
11

THE INFLUENTIAL LEADER

At senior levels, your ability to lead is largely determined by your ability to influence — to move people toward a decision, align a room, and communicate with enough clarity and conviction that others follow your direction without needing to be managed. In this module, you develop the communication skills that make your leadership land with authority, drawing on the rhetorical principles of Cicero — whose framework for persuasive communication, built on the integration of credibility, logic, and emotional resonance, has shaped how leaders, advocates, and executives have constructed influential communication for more than two thousand years. Influence isn't charisma. It's a skill. This is where you build it.
12

LEGACY OF LEADERSHIP

Most leaders think about legacy as something that happens at the end of a career. The leaders who actually build one start making decisions about it now — in how they develop their teams, how they show up under pressure, and what they stand for when it's inconvenient. In this final module, you integrate everything built across the previous eleven into a clear picture of the leader you are and the impact you intend to leave, drawing on the Stoic philosophical tradition — Marcus Aurelius's principle that legacy is not constructed through grand gestures but through the daily practice of leading with integrity, judgment, and deliberate purpose. You'll leave not just with a completed program, but with a leadership identity you can build on for the rest of your career. This is where the framework becomes yours permanently.

“A single promotion at the director or VP level typically represents $25,000–$75,000 in additional annual compensation. The frameworks and judgment you build here are permanent.”

Is 90 days enough time?

Yes — if you do the work. Ninety days is enough time to build a complete leadership operating system, apply it to real decisions you’re already facing, and develop habits that compound long after the program ends. The structure is intentional: each of the 12 modules builds on the last, the 1:1 coaching sessions address what’s live for you in real time, and the roadmap you leave with is specific to your situation. Most clients notice a meaningful shift in how they make decisions and how they show up within the first 30 days. By day 90, they have a framework they own permanently.

What's the time commitment per week?

Plan for approximately 3–5 hours per week depending on your format. This includes your coaching sessions, module work, and any live group sessions. The program is designed for leaders with full schedules — the work is focused, not padded. You won’t be sitting through content that doesn’t apply to you. Each session, module, and exercise is oriented toward a specific outcome you can put to work immediately.

How is this different from coaching I've tried before?

Most coaching is reactive — you bring a problem, you get perspective, you leave. The Iconic Leadership Accelerator is different in three specific ways. First, it’s built on a structured methodology — the Iconic Leadership Matrix — not a conversation-by-conversation approach. You’re building a system, not collecting insights. Second, it addresses the full scope of leadership performance: identity, judgment, presence, influence, and execution — not just the presenting issue. Third, you leave with a concrete roadmap that is specific to your goals, your role, and the leader you are becoming. Clients who have worked with other coaches consistently describe this as the first program that gave them something structural to work with after it ended.

What's the weekly time commitment for the Cohort vs. Private format?

The Cohort Leadership Accelerator includes 4 private coaching sessions across 90 days, weekly live group sessions, and monthly masterclasses — plan for approximately 3–4 hours per week. The Private Leadership Accelerator includes 12 private sessions across 90 days with optional group access and a high-touch direct support path — the time investment is similar, but the depth and personalization of each session is significantly greater. If you’re navigating complex, sensitive, or high-stakes leadership situations, the Private format gives you the space and access to work through them fully.

Who else will be in the cohort with me?

The cohort is kept intentionally small and selective. Participants are managers, founders, executives, and high-potential leaders who are serious about building their leadership capability — not passive learners looking for motivation. The application process exists specifically to ensure the cohort is composed of people who will contribute to each other’s growth, not just consume the content. You’ll be in a room — virtually or otherwise — with peers who are operating at a meaningful level and taking the work seriously.

Can my company or organization pay for this?

Many businesses and organizations reimburse professional development investments, and a program at this level is a legitimate candidate for that conversation. The program can be positioned as executive coaching, leadership development, or professional development depending on your organization’s framing. Upon enrollment, you’ll receive documentation that supports a reimbursement request. If you’re unsure how to approach that conversation internally, it’s something we can discuss during your application call.

What happens after I apply?

Once you submit your application, you’ll be contacted within 48 hours to schedule a brief conversation — typically 20–30 minutes. This is not a high-pressure sales call. It’s a mutual assessment to ensure the program is the right fit for where you are and what you’re trying to build. If it’s a fit, you’ll receive enrollment details and next steps. If it’s not the right time or the right program for you, that will be said directly. Dan’s reputation is built on results, and that starts with the right people entering the program.

What if I start and it's not the right fit?

That conversation starts during the application process, not after enrollment. The intake assessment and discovery call are designed to identify fit before you commit. That said, if something changes after you begin — your circumstances shift, the timing becomes wrong — reach out directly. Every situation is handled individually and with respect for the investment you’ve made. The goal is your growth, not your enrollment.
